Inknautilus
Dreamer, creator, and owner of Thalasso, its bounty, and its future.
Deranged lunatic with a splintering mind but oh so marvelous and horrifying ideas.
If you see me, be not afraid for I have certainly seen you and am likely sprinting as far away as possible.
Rhythmic wailing always near.
Zenith Arch High Grand Captain of the Greater Cosmic Seas
Greetings, I am Inknautilus… but you may call me Ink. I am the main creator of Thalasso and have been cultivating the world for six years now with the intent of developing it into a franchise or world setting for others to develop their stories. While the Age of Sail has died and the once beloved nautical fantasy genre has been replaced by space opera, I still see the boundless potential within our oceans. My muse is the sea, and I wish to share it.
Thalasso is a melting pot of ideas, peoples, and cultures designed to be the best for making stories and legends. Almost every facet of Thalasso has been meticulously designed for this greater narrative about the importance of stories and names. My grandfather was a captain, and the sheer power in his title and name is enough to cause people to salute and cry. Even though he may be gone, his legend remains and is spread across the seas. This has inspired me to make Thalasso a bubbling pot that brews legends, both good and bad, to be sung and scorned across the endless seas.

> The Boiling Sea - (+28)
The first written Thalasso article. A sea of boiling water that is surprisingly more complex than that. A great introduction to Thalasso seas and their wackiness. Try not to fall in and… do watch your step.
> The Deeper Blue - (+15)
The first written Thalasso threshold. Take a dive beneath the depths into the origin of sea horror. An eternal sleepless nightmare where even the most determined eventually crack under the pressure. Something is amiss about those statues…
> Bermuda's Wrath - (+10)
The Bermuda Triangle is more than what it seems. The seas of our world have given birth to a vengeful spirit and she is vengeful to the point that not even death can spare you from her wrath. But there is a glimmering flame out in the fog…
> Scav's Redemption series - (+10)
PIRATE CRABS. PIRATE CRABS. PIRATE CRABS. PIRATE CRABS. PIRATE CRABS. But serious themes in this series are about funny pirate crabs. Salvation for the crustaceans…
> The Form In The Fog - (+12)
The Call, the most powerful force that even afflicts us today—-beckoning us into the sea. This is a tale of two brothers who saw the Emissary of Thalasso but declined his offer… and suffered the consequences…
> Monomachos - (+9)
The Cursed man. He who dove where none before had. The kickstarter of Thalasso. Cursed to be alone forever. The legend of legends. Is he a man or a monster…
> Shivergate - (+8)
When Hell freezes over, Shivergate is born. This is a winter horrorland where you either die in the night or are whittled down till you are no longer human. This is the domain of the Monarch of Glass, Lord of Ice, Verglasking. Those who pass Shivergate are colder than the permafrost of Hailscream…
> THE STAR BORN OF SCARLET BLOOD - (+7)
Tapes of another world wound in red string. Do you dare to sit before the screen and don the mask of a hypocrite? What if you never had a say in the matter…
> Havenpost - (+4)
The tombs of kings and gods are not made of stone or gold but rather ice… all the way down. This is the world where even the sky has frozen. The whirrs of the machines beneath the ice and the screams caught on the bladed wind make this deathly snow sheet an undead nightmare. Just what happened here…
> Puppet Lords - (+4)
Reality altering puppet things held up by strings from the heavens that make the world into their stage of wicked games and acts. Really weird. I have no idea where this idea came from and looking back, I may have been in a state of madness when writing it. I mean, come on. Read it and you will see. Who the FISH comes up with these ideas? Me apparently.
> The Undying Undine - (+5)
A tale about an autistic biologically and mechanically augmented girl who loves sharks and soft things as she dives into the belly of a flying stone whale and tracks down a cult of murderous fish mutating killers. Typical Ink tale right here…
> Heir of Neptune - (+5)
I honestly couldn't tell you what this is really about. A boy in a box and the planet neptune? Portals, robot squid cowboys? A knight riding a horse across the ocean? A god with a million faces in agony? It is really weird.
Blue, the fish creature
Greetangs! I'm Bluetangs Rock, the right-fin fish of the Thalasso crew. I'll occasionally write tales of people's experiences in Thalasso, though my main passion in this limsystem project is the speculative biology aspect; planning out many of the bizarre sea beasts and critters of Thalasso and how they and the other species around them adapt and interact to the diverse environments found out on the Thousand Seas.

Writer's block is the often dropped anchor to my fishing vessel, so new, direct contributions from me come in slow. Though, hopefully, each time whenever the anchor is lifted and I return to Thalasso's seas once more, I can fish up a good haul of articles for y'all's reading pleasure. :D
> Heart of the Icy Seas - (+10)
John Eric, his love Jenna Enra, and their crew of fellow treasure hunters explore an uncharted polar sea. Tragic events unfold which separates John Eric from both Jenna and the crew. At the brink of death, he finds himself in isolation, he processes the loss of his loved ones while trying to find the will to move forward and survive the cold and often brutal world of Thalasso.

I'm Bloof, I'm a writer. I don't really read what I write because I'm illiterate, I just press my fingers into the "keyboard" and words come out. Honestly, never bothered checking whether or not it's legible. Even now. Even when I helped a little bit with the Thalasso hub teehee.
You may note something from my currently unseen profile picture: Kermit. He's not just a mascot to me, he's an aspiration. A puppet whose strings were severed, freed to roam through the globe, shredding a crater across most of North America's territory and killing millions. I want to be like that, I want to be "the man." My religion also doesn't forbid me from eating pork. Thalasso is one such step in the ladder: my presence in this list distorts my reincarnation gacha odds in a fucked up, evil manner through wicked mossy macumba. A luck boost, if you will. My next life will be one of power, and delicious, savoury gambling. And the deepwalkers are pretty cool too I GUESS.

Somewhere far below where we can see, sinking deeper still: A victim to ambition and circumstance.

Tomu
Storyteller and general pinky finger of Thalasso's left hand. (Mental IQ Surpassing -12)
Incredibly genius author that makes no mistakes with their work that would ever need crit. I practically control this entire site with my 17 alternate accounts, which includes the authors seen here!
Always down to talk and chat about whatever interests a person has, unless it's really dull like floorboard polishing.
Captain of the fictional SV Exodus, and champion of diversity in these oceans beyond our understanding.
Grandest Ascendant Jester of the Limelight Communion Court
What's up. I am Tomu and will always be Tomu, unless you meet another me from a fractal rift in which case I can only say good luck! I am simply a VERY humble author without any ego (The sirens love me) writing pages for Thalasso, sharing ideas where I see fit and in a place that inspires me to just push words of meaning and connection onto the page. I initially hadn't seemed too interested in this weird and wonderful world, but after reading the pages and many lore dumps released by the Nautilus among us, I came to not only enjoy it, but actively want to cultivate ideas within it.
Thalasso, to me, is a world so ripe with stories to tell that I have not seen anywhere else. Everything has some type of history or plot behind it, from the weird talking crabs to turtles from the depths carrying massive islands on their backs. It's a land of opportunity for authors like you and me, and all we need to do to forge legends amongst our peers is answer the call. Go to your local beach, take a swim as far as you can, and pray to the gods that you get whisked away. Hasn't worked for me yet, but who knows!

> Prologue: Snowcrosser - (+5)
NOW NOT MY ONLY ARTICLE… but the start to a grand journey towards the deepest depths of Thalasso. When I set out writing this tale, I had a simple goal: Write the longest Thalasso page that will be put on the site. I aim to keep my crown. A wolfman, an evil tree, sailors with weird names, and lifelong trauma await you. Plotwise, it's just a regular old guy walking from Point A to Point B. Nothing bad could ever happen with that, right? Also has nothing to do with the ocean…
> The Echo Providence - (+4)
An ocean I wrote! It started with me watching a short video about some landscape shots on a super reflective sea. That was the basis for what I wanted to write, and… I wrote it! Enjoy the fun shit I came up with to justify the reflections and the various lore I added to make this place an actual PLACE.
> Catharsis In The Luminarch's Embrace - (+4)
A guy goes to talk to an ancient worm for the 5th time and finally makes some leeway. The rest of the story is for you to read! It was great just sitting down and writing an A to B plot that developed the lore on this worm thing. Damn, Luminarch… go protect a different tree!

Hi I'm Some Random User. I wrote something.
> Basalt Depths - (+7)
One day I played modded Minecraft and amongs the mods I used was a mod that added sea life to the lava oceans in the nether. I then posted in LA how I thought this would be a good idea for this system. After that followed a bit of brainstorming with ink and the rest is history.
