  • Do not impersonate users or staff.
  • Do not vote maliciously against an author or call for downvotes.
  • Do not advertise external sites.
  • Do not rewrite portions of an article without permission from its author. Only minor changes to correct errors in spelling, grammar, formatting, etc. are permitted without author permission.

Behavior

  • Do not incite conversations about politics.
  • Do not role-play.
  • Keep threads on-topic and do not spam them.
  • Keep threads in the proper forum categories.

Writing

  • Do not coldpost. You must receive required crit before posting an article. This can be forum or Discord crit.
    • Option 1: Get feedback from at least 2 different people. Each crit should have at least 5 points of feedback.1
    • Option 2: Participate in mutual critique with another writer.2 Both critiques must have at least 10 points of feedback.
  • After posting, you must go to the article's discussion page and post evidence that you received at least the minimum required crit. The easiest way is to copy the link to the draft thread on the Discord or site forums. You can also link screenshots of crit if you prefer. Note that if you are not able to provide evidence that you received the minimum required crit, staff reserve the right to remove your article if it does not meet quality expectations, and you will have to get more crit before posting again.3
  • Get permission before using someone's art in an article, and give proper credit.
  • Do not plagiarize. Posting articles with content not created by you must be credited.
  • Give credit for any code used.
  • If a limspace system is marked as a Closed System on the limspace systems hub (signified by the ⦸ symbol), then you must have permission from the system's primary author(s)4 before contributing articles to it. This rule does not apply to articles posted to the non-canon section of the site.
  • Do not write needlessly sexualized works or fetish material.
