You used fig 2.1 for the photos twice. Please fix it.
I dig the eerie abandoned dormitory vibe. This has strong Class of 76 vibes.
Such is life in the Soviet Union
Can someone provide me with the actual context with the "no way out" sign?
hi, the one who made this level and the pictures here. it's a "warning sign", you find it while on your way up to the second floor in the stairwell, it's supposed to indicate that the students are found upstairs (hence the stickfigures with the weird legs), and the "NO WAY OUT" is meant to reference the fact that the upper floor has no exit and is infinite. though, it's also meant to be pretty vague.

That's not what I meant. I mean, if the backrooms limspace system is a fictional concept then this photo was taken in baseline reality or was computer generated. Which category does this photo fall into? And if it was taken in baseline reality for the sake of writing this level, why does the sign actually exist?
oh. all of the pictures used are taken in baseline reality, but the only edited one is of the stairwell and the sign. the original is a social distancing sign. the other pictures are only edited to remove logos, for obvious reasons. i took all of the photos myself.

Why would "no way out" translate to "hey there are humanoid creatures that will murder you. they are called students"?
the figures represent the students, the posters being put in the stairwells point to them being found UPSTAIRS, and the upstairs being endless is represented by the "no way out"
it's meant to be creepy, you're reading too much into it.

How does no way out translate to endless? Also, the upper floor does have exits. Windows lead to level 14 during the day and to level 7 during the night. There are also stairs that lead back to the lower floor.
