In Thalasso, there are giant cities that have sunken to the bottom of the oceans and some even further. I think it would be pretty interesting if one of the buildings that sank was a limspace like how Baseline has thresholds. The hospital would have been known to be "cursed" and thus was abandoned. Myths of twisted doctors would be spread around the children to discourage going out at night. Still, the children would go and play by the hospital that loomed over them.

When the cities began to crumble and sink, the hospital stood tall. So, people sought refuge inside. However, that was the hospital's goal all along for it has a mind of its own. The hospital would be a living building that has other organisms such as the twisted surgeons living inside and repairing endlessly. It would sink forever and loop around the many oceans as a wandering trap for the weary and injured crews—-waiting to be snatched into the steel jaws of the hospital.

Welp, that is my current idea for a rewrite. I don't need to do the time stuff because of the mountain "Timeless Descent" I am sure you know about that one! :)
Timeless Descent did the lost-in-time idea much better than mine and I think that I can reallocate my time stuff to other areas such as the entities or its origins.

A rewrite so far would be a tale of someone who sought refuge in a hospital limspace(threshold maybe?) but through some meshing of limspaces, the hospital was plunged into an endless ocean. The wanderer would document their struggles and encounters before eventually leaving the notes in the hands of their rescuers.

As for pressure, I do take it into consideration for other articles but in this one I wanted the ocean to be timeless and unchanging. Keeping at the same pressure and color.

But since it's Thalasso, that means there's presumably a surface to the ocean, which means there can't be equal pressure.

Also, I see an inherent problem with endlessly sinking that kinda makes the whole thing collapse for me: water pressure. If the hospital is indeed sinking forever, would it not simply be crushed by the unfathomable PSI? It breaks my immersion! What happens when you reach PSI that would compress the molecular structure of water into a plasma? Would you sink until you hit "heavy" water that's been compressed into a solid structure by nothing but its own weight? How is the inside of the hospital pressurized if areas of it have indeed succumbed to the pressure and have taken on water?

Don't get me wrong, the idea of endlessly sinking is very cool. My first instinct is to go full science-brained on it though, and it falls apart under scrutiny.

Next, I need to take apart the document and rewrite it into a tale. Perhaps someone from within the hospital struggling to survive.

Especially the way the story at the end is delivered feels clunky and antitonal. It's written far too straightforwardly and densely where the vagueness of the rest of the article is a far better fit. Most elements from it you could take out and incorporate as descriptions of the environment, leaving only a short, sweet core to sell the concept so much better.

It is a delightful read in spite of its flaws.

The hospital is not abandoned. Roaming the stainless halls searching for their next patients are the Kranken and their Geschwister. These names perfectly describe them as Kranken translates to "suffer" while Geschwister translates to "siblings".

This sounds kind of goofy. "their names PERFECTLY describe them" like that is something i should be able to figure out myself
